Check out the great work that the John Howard Society is doing right here in Saskatoon. Your support of our store allows us to support great projects like this. Thank You!
Is a program for people who want to exit the gang life. There is no age limit but participants are generally over 18 years of age. There are 3 visions or goals: to be responsible citizens, to be a faithful partner, and to be loving parents (right now all participants are parents). There are 5 conditions each participant has to be willing to adhere to: drop colors, deal with their addiction, be honest( drop attitude and manipulative ways). be humble, and to be willing to give the program a chance and accept support and partake for 4 years. Activities involved are: visit guys in the correctional and hold meetings there; present in schools, reserves, addiction centers, and basically anywhere that expresses need. The group meets once a week. They learn about healthy lifestyles and positively contributing to and partaking in community, They do recreational activities and have bbqs. The program also offers support in areas such as looking for housing, employment, and general community errands.

“Dear friends and supporters of Zatoun,
Zatoun Fair Trade Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a meaningful, inclusive and delicious gift for everyone (almost) on your list. However much Zatoun helps Palestinian farming families, press operators, bottlers, carton makers, laborers in the West Bank - its other great benefit is to connect us here in North America with Palestinians living the daily reality of brutal military occupation and its inhuman consequences. This awareness helps to spur us on to solidarity and finding a voice within our communities, the media and our political leadership to counter this dark reality.”

Thank you so much for your support and kindness in voting for us as Saskatoon’s favorite new, environmentally friendly and locally owned shop.
With Gratitude-
Corey and Laura Neufeld
